I belive it is a copout for anyone to vote along party lines, if the canidate does not represent how you feel. I also think it is wrong for states to TELL you to choose a party before you can vote. I choose to be nonpartisian and I vote for who I think will do a better job. Is this not a form of descrimination. What do you think

I agree with you. I always vote for the person whom I think will do the best job. Those people who vote a straight ticket are being ridiculous. I mean this is too important for people to just stick to one thing because of their political party. It doesn't make any sense to me.

I absolutely agree, I hear people say that bipartisanship is the only way it works, but I think thats crap. I can't stand people that just subscribe to some system that best fits their ideas. I think parties are just a way of putting too much power in people's hands. It drives me nutz how if you aren't THE candidate from a party you don't have a shot

I think they are only grabbing party choices for statistical information. I understand your feeling though. I do believe you can choose to be undecided when asked, but am not 100% sure.

most people vote for the people they like the gov can't control that even tho they try
