This is an illegal Pyramid scheme where you can never earn more money then those above you. That fits almost all jobs out there that people go to everyday. But yet in Network Marketing you can make more then those above you. So my question is why is network marketing said to be illegal pyramid schemes?

You have alot of narrow minded people thats been told that its illegal. That believes in the straight 40 a week and trys to get a lttle extra from the overtime the company they work for lets them have. Thats why its illegal, they are afraid to step out of the line that everyone else walks to create thier own path. I work the 40, I don't need there overtime I say it loud I network market on my own time and I love it. If anyone wants to join me email me?

It is all semantics.

The way Network Marketing is laid out, it is legal today. But don't hold your breath - it may be illegal tomorrow.

It works just like a pyramid scheme. You STILL dont make any money. Dont bother with it, unless you got a million people you can recruit under you.

There are alsp reverse pyramids as well. People who are always looking for the quick buck tend to go into these. They are essentially the same. I met a rep from primerica about insurance. All they wanted to do was recruit my wife and I for their scam. They told me that in 15 years an average car would cost $130k. If that happens, we're in bad shape.

I think that some of them are worth it if you have the time and energy to put into it... but no one wants to spend all the time and money putting effort into something when the results aren't guaranteed and it takes away from time with those you love. So its all personal opinion and personal choice. But if someone is determined enough I have definitely seen them work. But in most cases they are not illegal.
