No! Snake will eat the lizard or stress it out so much it dies.
Three by three is a little small but it will work out as long as you make it tall and have plenty of sturdy branches for your snake to climb on.

OK, this might be a bit late, but you've taken a lot of abuse over this one. Maybe this will help you.
Let me start by saying that 3 ft x 3 ft is way too small for an adult rainbow boa of any subspecies. You will want a tank closer to 75 gal. or larger to keep it comfortable. Further, you should not keep more than one snake per enclosure unless they are either very young (and are of the same species) or are a breeding pair (and then only when they are mating).
Second, you should not keep snakes and lizards in the same enclosure, as one will invariably attack the other, usually with very final results for the loser (and often for the winner as well).
Finally, snakes are solitary creatures by nature. They neither require nor do they frequently tolerate the proximity of any other creature. They do not have friends, buddies, pals, or mates (in the Aussie sense of the word). Their lives consist of a simple pattern: eat, sleep, excrete, repeat...and if they're lucky, procreate.
Any effort on your part to relieve your snake's "loneliness" by giving it a "roommate" is at best a waste of time, and could potentially be catastrophic for the snake. If you really want it to be comfortable please take the time to research its habitat requirements and do your best to reproduce them in your vivarium. A clean, appropriate enclosure with the proper temperature and humidity will help your snake to thrive in your care.
Good luck
PS, did you possibly mean Peruvian rainbow boa?

Are you being serious? This is an utterly moronic question. Sorry, but it is.
You cannot house snakes with lizards.
You cannot house snakes with other snakes.
3ft is not enough space for a rainbow boa, let alone a rainbow boa and another animal.
Go back to square one and learn how to care for the animals you DO have before you get any more.
Sorry if I sound mean, but having animals isn't a game.
EDIT: If you keep snakes together, you're an idiot. You can think whatever you like about me but it's true. Snakes can fight, eat each other, mate too young, and are generally subjected to great stress. Snakes do NOT like company.
Now, YOU are the ones who are subjecting your snakes to this. If anyone here is a nob, it's you :)

if i were u i woeld plan for the future and buy the cage size an adult rainbow boa would need and never put lizards in the snake cage unless the lizards bigger with not many lizards are bigger than a full grown boa best bet is to look into a tortoise for his buddy

No you cannot house them together. And yes, 3 ft by 3 ft is not big enough for an adult-you should look at getting a bigger enclosure. However, several respondents could have told you that without trying to make you feel bad.
You can house some snakes together, my corns do well together-my kings would eat anything they could fit their little mouths around....it depends on the species and a lot on the individual. If you do house two snakes together, feed them seperately or they could squabble.
Good luck, and please continue to ask questions-its the best way to learn.

Any rainbow boa subspecies will eventually get big enough to eat a gecko. Not a good idea. It's not recommended to mix reptile species of any kind, especially not medium-large snakes and lizards.
How did you end up with a Paraguyan rainbow? Those are fairly uncommon in the US...

Rainbow boas do not get nearly as big as other boa species, around four feet tops. 3x3 is more then enough space to keep one especially if it is decorated well. Boas will only eat warm blooded prey, they are not colubrids like kingsnakes, many of which will eat coldblooded prey. The gecko however will still recognize the snake as a predator and I think it is way more mean then stupid to try such a stunt.

1) Jason is a nob.
2) I dont tend to keep my snakes with any other snake apart from there own breed . Even when you have two of the same species of snake in a vivarium it can cause aggro at times. Such as feedind times etc.
3) People are right my friend . Your viv is way two small.
4) Keep gecko and boa apart mate .
5)Get some good books and read your do's and donts.
6) Good luck mate and have a good xmas.

No, because Boas are predators, and aren't too picky on what live animal they'll eat. You will not have a lizard for long, if you put it in an enclosure with a snake.

You are serious? 3 by 3 for a RAINBOW BOA? Are you special? Buddy, maybe 3 by 3 for the gecko. And if 3 by 3 is what you consider big.... lol, I'll just leave it at that.
Learn about pets before spending your money. You obvisiously have more money than brains to make such dumb decisions when it comes to animals.
