Yes. My siblings are the types of professionals that every parent and grandparent loves to brag about at cocktail parties. I excelled in my studies for pre-med, and looked to outshine my brothers' lofty achievements when i was accepted to a prestigious medical school. Never in their wildest dreams (should I say nightmares) would my parents have pictured me where I am today. I wouldn't trade it for the world, because i chose to make myself happy instead.

I was groomed by spider monkeys
but chose a totally different path
(though I do still enjoy swinging through trees)

No I wasn't groomed for much of anything, my mom didn't care what path I chose as Long as I hurried up and got on it and left.

Not exactly.....I turned out the way I was groomed, I just decided to use a comb instead of a brush :)

Yes. Maman raised me to marry rich. BOY did I go the other way! My first husband wouldn't work at all, and my current husband is a commissioned salesman! I never could get into the rich guys she liked so well, there was something about money that seemed to make them less real.
