have you ever thought you were better than anyone? if so, why? if not, why not?

There was a time in my life that I insisted I was better or more deserving then others... ((sigh))
I'm ashamed of that, and I hope I didn't hurt too many people...
Now I realize we are all the same...some have better luck...some make better decisions...but we are all the same.

I disagree with the above. I don't thing we're all the same. If a rapist and a kindergarten teacher, both the same age, were dying and needed a heart transplant, I doubt many people would say both were equally deserving. So yes, I have thought I was better than some people and I still do.
