Umm praying on the fact that the christmas tree is a real pine, then yes I love the smell and it livens your household, no need for airfresheners either.
As for fake ones, umm not so good, the smell of plastic is really, uhh not good, and bad for the senses.
Of course, they have things that smell like pine if you were to have a fake christmas tree, you can get incents that really smell like it but you have to know what kind of incent to buy. Some incents that are made to smell like real pine can be overpowering.

Yes, very much so. That's the only thing I have against artificial trees, no pine smell. Even pine spray, or candles just don't have that lovely pine smell.
My husband are older now and with no grandchildren close, we don't put up a tree anymore. I just decorate around the house, but no tree.
