Not interested in spending tons of money, just curious what other's like that goes with this. Is the idea to match the color of the necklace with the top?? Sorry, I'm clueless.

No, I wouldn't exactly get maroon. It is nice of you to think of getting something that matches though. I would get a silver necklace. Something with a pendant, diamond would be great. Something simple and not to garish. Since you said you did not want to spend a ton, QVC online is great! They have a lot of jewelry. Their silver is of the best quality and if you get silver with Diamoniqe (fake diamonds) I promise you no one but a jeweler can tell the difference. ( I wouldn't lie to your wife about it but, honestly I have some of this jewelry and love it. I actually prefer it why spend a ton when you can get this and it looks just as classy.) You can shop online and never have to go to a store. They ship UPS and it comes in some beautiful jewelry boxes. I am sure your wife will love it and QVC has great prices, even if you choose to get a silver necklace say with stone like a garnet that would go well with maroon QVC has great prices on that as well.

I would say a silver necklace with a dangling pendant in an egg or oval shape. If you can find one to match the top that would be good but plain silver or one with some sparkle would be nice. There is a lot of that to buy right now. Sterling Silver is nice and not really expensive. Even some good costume jewelry is good. Gold (or gold plated) is good with red if she prefers that, there just isn't as much of it in the stores right now. Good luck and happy shopping!

Well you can match the color if you want, the major thing here is that you get a necklace that is a tear drop style, meaning, that the necklace drops downward, instead of a short necklace. i would get something very simple black or if you want maroon, but if it were me i wouldnt go with maroon, i usually would get something clear......good luck!

No it doesn't have to "match" - most jewelry are in tones that complement a variety of clothes & colors. Recently I saw something - a flat necklace, on one side it is gold, the other is white gold - very versatile....

The circle would really complement the v-neck of the top.
