Some are only obtained through Nitendo events. But you'll need Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Fire Red, Clossuem, XD and leaf Green in order to get them all if you don't have a friend to trade with.
With Diamond and Pearl being released in the Spring, there will be an additional 100-486. However, with the wi-fi connection, you can trade with anyone in the world, making it very easy to compelte your pokedex.
A simple but very risky way also is to use gameshark to get all the Pokemon.

You trade with all the other games (FireRed, Emerald, Ruby, Saphire, XD, and Colosseum) after you beat the Elite Four. You need a certain number of Pokemon to get the National Dex from Oak (after you beat the Elite Four).

Get the game shark for SP or buy Emerald,Saphire,Ruby,Fire red,Pokemon Colosseum and a GCN.
These r the only ways to get them.
