This is a technical question.Some people cannot separate reality from drama and think that it is a scary experience to come in contact with other forms of human life like dwarfs,puppets,clown etc.etc.My daughter is very afraid of dwarfs.

I dressed up as clown for my sons 1st birthday party, and scared the living daylights out of him, he's 17 now and still hates them, some mother I am, I show him the video every so often to P*ss him off, hehe wicked or what xx

I just think they're so creepy, especially clowns, and those china dolls are horrid.
It probably doesn't help that I was chased around a department store by a creepy clown when I was much younger & he wouldn't leave me alone, I was terrified & haven't forgotten to this day!

Well I personally feel there is just something "wrong" with people who dress up as clowns, no offence to anyone, but come on, John Wayne Gacy? That's enough to turn anyone off.

I don't think they are really. Noticed how its always girls who are 'scared ' of them? They just hear their friend say 'Hey, Paris I'm really scared of puppets - especially clowns' then they reply 'Gee - me too Nicole, aren't we just the cutest. We have a crazy quirky fear of toys....ooooh!'

my girlfriend hates clowns, puppets and masks. I dont mind them myself, but I can see why people would find them freaky, maybe its the idea that their hiding something...?
