Cancer females are the nice ones?

I ask this because every female Cancer I've met has the been the sweetest, most caring person. My mom is one and she's a sweetheart. I've dated 3 Cancer men and they completely dogged me out. They were cheaters and compulsive liars and didn't even seem to have a heart or a conscious for that matter. The complete opposite of the girls. Now before I get hateful answers, I KNOW that not every Cancer man is like this. I'm sure there are some good ones out there that I haven't been fortunate enough to meet. In general though, do most of the positive Cancer attributes pertain to the women?

Sable, yeah I know what you mean. The 2nd Cancer guy I dated started cheating on me just a few weeks after we started dating. Then when I told him I wasn't putting up with his sh*t he said he would kill me if I left him which I knew was bs but it was scary just the same.

Bluekaluha, I've never heard it explained like that as far as 'why' so many Cancer men are dogs. What you say makes perfect sense. Perhaps they feel that being sensitive is not a manly trait so they sleep with tons of women to 'compensate' this. I'm sure there are good ones but I'll never give another one a chance to hurt me.

Stardog, thanks for not getting offended. You're right, Cancer men shouldn't be ashamed of their sensitivity. They should embrace it. Being an Aquarius (supposedly the most unemotional of signs) I want a man with some kind of emotions and oddly enough I love sensitive men. It's ashamed that some try to hide it by acting like assholes. I don't know why they think that would be the better choice of the two.

It depends on the Cancer that you come across. I'm a Cancer, so I like to think of myself as sweet and caring :) But I do have a dark side to me. I'm clingy, overly emotional, and take everything personal.

Now the Cancer men I've come across, they're dogs. You are totally right. Cheaters. Liars. They outwit Scorpio men! Not that all Cancer men are like that, you are right again. There has to be some good ones out there :)

I think each sex has positive parts of the sign, but I think that sometimes since Cancer is obviously a more female-friendly sign (since we're ruled by the moon, we're sensitive, emotional, all things men are typically not supposed to be) it comes out different in us than in men. The men might have to do kind of...jerk things in order to prove that they're manly instead of a sensitive, emotional Cancer. Just my thought.

well i guess my first boyfriend ever didn't like then and my now boyfriend likes me very much lol. I agree cancer females are sweet and caring. But the men i dont know. I hear alot of women from different zodiac signs saying they get dogged out by them. The men this inferiority complex because they know that they are emotional more than most men, but the totally screws with their head. So if a woman like yourself is more grounded and focused they hate that because they feel that you are trying to steal their masculinity. But what ever you do not date cancers born between 6/21-7/3 these cancer men are very very emotional and volatile. The best ones to date are the ones after these date. But not all cancer men are like this i hope.

I've never dated a cancer man, so I can't really say if they all cheat etc. I have known a few and they tend to be very sensitive, if not over emotional. If they are insecure with themselves or their relationship, I can see that as why they may cheat. Once they feel that security, I don't think they will stray.
My dad is a cancer, and I think he is a very kind person. But, like any cancer he is very sensitive. When I was a kid I used to make fun of him when he'd cry at movies (both of my parents woould). Now we cry at movies together (I have a scorpio moon so I can tend to be over-emotional too).
Cancer women can be b****es. I have had a lot of female cancer friends. Most of whom I'm no longer friends with. They tend to be very emotionally selfish people. Caring and nurturing? Only when they don't need the caring and nurturing.

i kinda have to agree with blue kaluha. alot of cancer males have really deep insecurity issues... i know i had them for the longest time during highschool. but ive learned to accept the fact that i have a feminie side, any one who has a problem with it can usualy turn the other cheek. and i have nothing to compensate for...

The positive traits are evident in both genders when it comes to. but take a look at the sign, protective, nurturing, sensitive, over-emotional, clings to the past. it is a really femine sign, infact its known as the "Mother" of the zodiac. there is alot of emphisis everywhere on the traditional masculine features, supporting a family, being strong emotionally. alot of cancer males try to hide their cancer traits ... when they shouldnt ... they need to accept who they are. once a cancer male does that u will notice a big change.
usualy though, once a cancer's insecuritys settle down, they can be the most loyal guys.

I'm also a cancer and I'd like to agree with ^ her, lol I have a dark side too, but I think that resides in most female cancers as well. We tend to be very emotional and moody or take things a lil too personal. Female cancers tend to be 'life long romantics'. Overall, cancer females are considered to be the most kindest of signs and love unconditionally for they base everything out of trust and emotional understanding.

Well cancer womens are they nice ones, cancer guys are cheaters when they don't like you, and when they like you they are the stalkers, so unless you want to be hurt stay away from them, but again everyone is different because of they're own birth chart.
