I want to know what happened to christmas?
It is advertised everywhere as holiday now!
Why did they take word Christmas away!!!!!
Not to mention the Christmas movies today does not have the same meaning the advertisings of christmas does'nt
I know time changes but some things need left alone....

The same reason that Easter is all about the Easter Bunny. Holidays are not fun when they are all religious and overbearing. So people gradually make them more fun by taking out the religious aspects. And then the few people who want everyone to be miserable start complaining about "true meanings" of holidays.

nothing happened to Christmas for those who believe...the only difference i can see is that people are finally recognizing that it's not the ONLY holiday going on this time of year...it's the one i celebrate, but i'm not so insecure that i get all bent out of shape if retailers try to bring in more customers by making those who celebrate other holidays feel included...it doesn't diminish Christmas in any way...i agree that some things need left alone, but i contend that folks need to grow up

I'm glad you asked this kinda question.Because I was wondering the same thing.People say its because some many people don't celebrate Christmas.and it because other people who have a different religion Don't Be live in Christmas.they be live in what there religion be lives in.Its sad to see that other Culters don't bel live in the same thing we do.But there not as free as we are to be live in some of the things we are.good luck
