Just wondering. will it be cold or mild? lots of ice and snow or dry?

Well, it depends. There is a weak el nino devolping which might make for a mild winter in the northeast, but a wet one too, so there would be lots of snow. In the southeast where i live (VA) there is suppose to be a colder then normal winter, and damp, rainy and snowy. Out west expect that weather pattern to countinue with the pacific northwest staying cold and wet, and eventually all that rain moving south to cali by feb/
