Legal agreement saying I have to be of a certain age, but though I am not, I agree to it. What can the people do if they find out? (I mean the worst they can do, not what they usually do)

Haha thank you all, but I was just wondering. The agreement is not serious at all, the one i'm referring to is just some online agreement by PayPal to use it's services (selling online). But I'm afraid if someone disputes payments etc and they require me to meet face to face to resolve it there may be some problems.. So if that happens and they find out, will they be able to recover all money I earned? :|

Generally, an agreement made by a minor is not enforceable, unless the minor is emancipated or if the agreement is related to the basic necessities of life, such as food, shelter, clothing.

However, the minor still has the option to enforce if the other party is of legal age, whereas the other party cannot enforce the agreement.

Oh-oh. I hope you haven't already entered into the agreement. First off, the agreement isn't legally binding if you entered into it and are not of the required age.

Secondly, if the other party discovers you knowingly entered into the agreement illegally you can be charged for fraudulent misrepresentation. Courts do not take kindly to people who do this sort of thing. This type of charge can haunt you for a very, very long time and may damage your ability to enter into legal agreements in the future. Not to mention the potential punishment you may face from the courts depending on the weight of the agreement you entered into. Yikes.

you are not actually committed to the agreement so they can't hold you to it. they can cut off your service or whatever they promised if they find out you lied and it is forgery.

Nothing hint the word legal. If you enter and your age is not legal not your fault, but others fault, but never amit guilt.
