i find far more than ever this world, especially the usa, for the most, treat the elderly like they are a burden and using up resources. unless you have a great family and friends, that is. personally, i don't. and i find i am not alone that way. we are, as the britcom title goes: "waiting on god." bingo anyone!

I agree with you 100%. I think it is terrible how the elderly are treated. If people stopped to talk to them they would find they have a ton of good advice. They have been through so much that they know how you feel about somethings and can give good advice. Now who among us doesn't like to give advice? I do feel bad that they have to deal with ever decreasing health conditions and are treated the way they are by others. I know that when I am not in the best of health at times it is very hard and I can't imagine what it feels like to be elderly and ill. I would feel useless. I love the elderly and I agree with you on your comments.

It is a crime how the elderly are ignored and treated. What goes around comes around. You must not be from the USA. It was hard to understand your point.

people who sell illegal drugs, people who murder others for fun, people who have children and have no interest in raising them with morals and teaching them honesty, drug users, alcoholics and gamblers who steal to feed their habbit. people who can't move to feed themselves, quadrapalegics, everyone in prison.

You act like old people don't deserve to have any fun. Lets see what these old people might have done for you. Fought in WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Iran, Iraq, Panama. Designed and built the buildings you see, the car you drive, the roads you need. After all that, I think they deserve time to enjoy themselves before we get into WW3.
