In 1987 Richard Brenneke was found innocent of lying to a federal judge after making the following claim in the Iran-Contra Hearings, In September of 1980 he piloted a Plane carrying George Herbert Walker Bush, William Casey, and Donald Greg to Paris France. There they met with the president of Iran. In the meeting 7 million dollars was given and the promis of continued shipment and sales of weapons in support of Iran's war with Iraq in exchange for stalled negotiations with the Carter administration on the release of the Hostages until after the November elections.
The Hostages were releaes during Reagan's inaugreation. This was undermining Jimmy Carter's administration, and endangering U.S. Military personell for political gain.

If that is true, which I am inclined to believe it is. I would definitely say yes it treason and all those involved should be hanged.

It would depend on the underlying circumstances behind the release. If there were other factors at play perhaps not, but if the sole timing for release was negotiated to benefit the Reagan administration then there would definately be a case for both corruption, neglagence, and items that would be only a stone's through from treason. More facts are needed from all areas of the timeline to support any theory.

No, that's not treason. We weren't at war with Iran, the weapons weren't for the express purpose of killing US citizens, and weapon sales are legal (besides, no weapons were actually sold here). This sort of thing happens quite a bit. It's called politics, and no matter how shady it is, it makes the world work.

I see the Black September theory is still alive. Also noticed that since 1987 the Liberals still have not provided proof did in fact take place.

I love when people to questions on here like yours, without evidence. He piloted the plane, but he sure didn't know what they were doing in France.

yes ,treason if it is true.But there are 2 standards in this country as I am sure you know by now.It wont change until apathy is gone.

dont see anything there to amount to a charge of anything, unless he lied about it later under oath. and thats perjury not treason.
