it's called gender re-assignment and it isn't "removed". the head of the penis is turned into a clitoris and a vagina is made. I have no clue how it works, this is from what i remember from Nip/Tuck. I imagine there might be some risk.

Some men have had their penis converted as part of sex change (they don't cut it off completely, they do some fancy origami on it. If you want to go through the procedures, they can actually take some of the sheath of the penis, turn it inside out and fashion a rudimentary vagina from it.
Yes, they can urinate (sitting down). Yes, they can have sex with guys.
As for the question of whether it's dangerous when they get old... Well not that I've ever heard. I can't imagine why it would be. But if it's something you're considering, that's a question best asked of a good plastic surgeon.

They become females.
It is very difficult. Gay men don't want to have sex with them usually because they are no longer men. Straight men don't want to have sex with them becuase they once were men. There is a small group of people who prefer transgendered -- but they are few, and from what I have seen -- often very ugly and disgusting.
I would be happy as a guy and just find a good boyfriend if I were you. Who wants to lose their d*ck??? Ultimately though, its your body, and you are good as whatever you are.

it is called sexual reassignment surgery. in my case, it will be changing from a male to a female. when my surgery is complete, i will look (externally) just like a genetic female. the only difference will be that a genetic female can have children and i wont be able to. but to the male population, sex will be just like with any other female. however, with that said, my personal orientation will be lesbian. i wont have sex with a man after or before my surgery.

They don't actually remove there penis they have it converted into a vagina. Trans do this when they want to become the women they were suppose to be born as

first they are not men, they are women having their bodies corrected to fit who they are and like the other answeres it is not removed it is inverted and a neo-vagina is created in its place. it works like any vagina they can have sex. have orgasms they just dont get periods and can not get pregnant.
i'll let ya know how it works after june. my surgery is then

No they just split the penis in half and thats how they urinate it not dangerous or anything.
