Yes, I've had a rain storm send rivers down my back garden path. I dashed out to get the washing in and it was only when I got back inside that I realised that the front garden was virtually dry. The storm had passed over half the street . It was really, really weird. The neighbours must've been wondering what on earth I was doing whizzing in and out with washing when they were in blazing sunshine!

I never had that happen. The closest was when I was driving in the (pouring) rain, yet a liitle ways up the same road it was bone dry.

Yup... It happens a lot on tropical countries. Sometimes it rains hard but the sun is shining bright and walk just a few yards and the pavement is completely dry. But you can see cars soaking wet coming from the rain.

Yes, we get that. Our prevailing wind is south-westerly, so often it'll start raining on the west side of the house and be perfectly dry on the east side.

its not weird...it happens everytime it rains, there's gotta be some point where it starts and ends, it can't rain all over the world at the same time...but it is cool to actually see it though, specially in in ur description

I was in Colorado about 15 years ago and on one side of the highway it was pouring down and hailing. The other side was dry and sunny. It was the strangest thing. It was a highway with 2 lanes going in opposite directions and a grass median between them.
