Join the cores inside the box, red to red, or brown to brown etc. otherwise you will lose ring circuit continuity. Then fit a blank cover plate. Do NOT just fill it with plaster otherwise there will be no indication of it's existence, which could cause problems later.

I would just fit plug blanks which can be bought from any hardware or electrical shop..
This will make the socket safe from "little fingers" and will enable you to use the socket again some time in the future. You can never have too many sockets !

Blanking plates woked for me. Just remember to cap the bare wires.

as long as youve isolated the wires etc,ie made safe etc,and when messing with the electric,switch the consumer board off and the main your working on etc,best safe then sorry,then yes blank it off no worries if you are unsure,consult a sparky etc,hope this helps,

yes as long as you have made the wires safe on existing socket by terminating in 30a connectors
