Every time I find something I like at Wal Mart, they stop carrying it!! Does this happen to you too or am I just grocery cursed?

My philosophy is if they have a product that I really like, I buy lots of it. It does seem that things I really like are discontinued. I write the companies, but a lot of good that does! No, you are not the only one who is cursed.

Walmart has a dilemma. They never expected an innovative competitor like Target to come along. They figured they'd only have to continue to deal with Kmart, a company so lame that they brought back the "blue light special" and tried to become a Walmart wanna-be. I got sick of Walmart "rolling back prices" on stuff already on the shelves. Price it low the first time. They're greedy and pushy as to what products they'll refuse to carry and I've experienced the problem you've mentioned.

No, you're not cursed. If they don't discontinue it, they MOVE it! I hate that! Albertsons keeps dropping products like that too. They told me it was because new products keep coming in, and people keep asking for the new stuff, and they've only go so much shelf space. I'm still wondering why that keeps them from keeping a decent mix of products!

I find that happens at Walmart and Costco. You get used to buying a certain product and then you find out they don't carry it anymore for whatever reason.

All stores do that. It's the best price they can get on a product from the vendor. If they can't, they drop it.

Only time I go to walmart is when I buy ammo or hunting stuff.

lol my mom gripes about that all the time..everything she likes gets discontinued but it's never happened to me
