Was George Washington, Father of Our Country, the best? Could it have been Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence? What about Lincoln, who held the Union together? Or FDR, who served during most of WWII? Who else could have been best?

George Bush Jr is certainly the worst. George Washington was certainly a good president, and the best probably came from that era as the days are now gone where someone who isn't rich and corrupt in one way or another can become president.

George Washington is number one for uniting the country and leaving office when his time was done and did not establish a dictatorship.
Runner ups for best in my opinion:
Teddy Roosevelt made the US a world power.
Ronald Reagan defeated communism

Worst:
Lyndon Baines Johnson.
Harry S. Truman
George W. Bush

Clinton the best and why is because all the countries liked him and america and tact and diplomancy is very important in our present day and the worst is present Bush why because no one will help us and no one likes him and we stand alone because he lacks tact and diplomancy. We are now an island from other countries,And in the end you think this might be our down fall as leader of the world?

Washington #1 & Lincoln #2, but that's a tough line to draw.

Buchanan would have to be the worst. Tough to rank William Henry Harrison very high either since he was only in office for about a month.

Lyndon B. Johnson
He was the most legislatively prolific and the most tortured of all modern presidents. He pushed for more civil rights legislation in history. He inherited the Vietnam War and struggled unsuccessfully to get us out. He was the most underrated president in history.
