there was a boy and he liked this girl he was not sure how to tell her. So one day his friend (who he talks to about her all the time) came up 2 her and asked "what do you think about so and so (the boy) and she said " i like him, i think he is so cool" then the boys friend went to tell him what he had said . The boy was shocked and asked for the boy to go ask her out then the boy did what he was told, then he asked her if she would like to go out with him, she said " why does he not ask me?" she left, then the next day she walked into school and the boy tottaly ignoed the girl!

He felt rejection so he felt it was best to avoid the girl for awhile...weeks or months. I have been in this situation. Alot of times guys have other guys or girls ask girls out for them. Girls do the same. Don't worry about who asks who, if you like the guy and someone came up in all serious-ness and asked, go for it. especially if you like the kid :)

Asked her himself! This is cringe-worthy but i did when i was like 14.
A friend asked someone out for me and she said no. I met her again like 5 years later and she confessed she would have said yes if i'd done it myself. It can take a while for those of born born shy to get over it and took me a long time and lots of practice of going to girls. But this guy just needs a boot i nthe backside to go for it.

Clearly he should have asked her out, but maybe he is too shy. Possibly he now thinks he made himself look bad to her and feels even worse.
Fear of rejection can be paralyzing. That's a tough age. But everyone will grow out of it.
