if this is for driving, try www.multimap.com, now look for rout planner, enter the town or post code you want to start from and then enter the town or postcode where you want to end up. (even if you are not planning a trip you can use the route planner to plan the route and it calculates the miles or Km (at your discretion) for you and it is free to use!

that really depends on which way around the worlds circumference you are going? Is it from the south western point of Cornwall or the north eastern? As the crow flies or by road? The answers can always be found when the question is known!
