I hear this become more and more popular in rap songs. Sometimes it's a female voice raised a couple octaves. Also what makes this appealing to rap artist?

Kayne West's "Slow Jamz" that uses a sped up sample of Luther Vandross, "A House Is Not A Home ". It makes it a different sound when this is done. Some other ones is Akon's "Mister Lonely" uses a sped up sample version of Bobby Vinton's "Lonely". I hope this helps you out.

Excuse me Brook G (or what #@#@ your name is) why don't you look inside either Kayne West last album or Twista "Kamikaze" and see for yourself the sample that they both took.
