I played it through. I liked the combat system, with the chains and on-the-fly job switching. I also liked that you could either rush through the game by going to hotspot to hotspot, and you had total mobility from the beginning.

The story was decent, but, since I tried to get 100% completion, I would often forget what had previously happened in the storyline, so I couldn't really follow it that well.

The graphics were good, they seemed just a little better than 10, but there weren't any major "wow" moments. I expect a lot from Square when it comes to FMVs and stuff, and they met my expectations.

I can't really say much for the sound. The music was a little repetitive, but I don't pay that much attention to such things.

It was a little pre-teen and girly for me, but I'm outside that market, so you can take that how you want.

Overall, on a scale of 1-10 for games, I would give it an 8 out of 10, comparing it to other FFs, I would say 7 out of 10.

I agree with Wax. I never finished the game. I personally don't like the dress spheres. Yes the costumes are great and i did like the idea of changing jobs on the fly, but i just thought they were too confusing. But overall i agree with what Wax said. I think he should get best answer. :)

Eh, i love them both both. in case you opt for to understand which persons like extra because you opt for to purchase one among them, then i'd say play X-2 in case you performed (and loved) FFX, and FFXII in case you've not performed FFX (or did not savour it.) in my view, i'd advise FFXII extra. that is a lengthy recreation with a wide international to locate with a deep and correct to tale. there is all forms of plot twists that are relaxing, yet some are predictable. FFX-2 is an really... nicely, the game isn't all that extreme. the forged is living in a international the position they're finally loose from Sin, a monster who change into immortal, destroyed cities and killed human beings. for sure, the characters are nonetheless relaxing, quite the "male opposite numbers" for the girls (Baralai, Gippal, and Nooj.) also, if you're a guy who likes ladies in skimpy clothing in any respect situations, FFX is a thanks to bypass. FFXII purely has Fran in little clothing. purely saying.

I liked it
I liked it because it continued the story from FFX and can give you the best ending if you get a 100% completion.
The characters are a bit Charlie's Angels type but it's light-hearted, fun and the costumes look great!
