this is crazy.my coffee pot has a timer on it.if there is no time set on my coffee pot?

it will not go on not even if i push on.do you have one like this?now my coffee pot is flashing 12:00 .and it wont let me put a time on it .is there any way i can get this thing to work by just pushing the on button?
