Currently I have a 125 gallon aquarium with 1- 14 inch Oscar, 1-11 inch oscar, 1- 4in green terror, 1- 4 inch texas cichlid, 1- 9 inch common plecostomus, 1- 5 inch Jaguar cichlid, and 3- 3 inch silver dollars.
Right now, the oscar is 2 years old, but is probably maxed out as far as length goes. He will continue to grow, but very slowly. The Jaguar will eventually be the largest fish, with specimens commonly reaching lengths of 16 inches or larger. Eventually I will need a larger aquarium to house everyone, but for now, what I have will suffice.

I had a 14" large mouth bass in a 50 gallon tank. He lived for years.
I also had three 8" oscars in a 100 gallon tank.
My stupid room mate thoughthat he should have some fish too so he spent about $50 buck on fancy fish. When he put them in the tank the Oscars ate all of them in less than two second. I laughed for an hour.

I had a 5 inch long pleco, in a 50 gallon aquarium. I gave it to a friend.
In general, you're not supposed to flush dead fish. If you have a yard, bury them. If not, just throw them away. If it's a few days until trash day, you can freeze them like meat scraps... but if you forget that is seriously not cool.

Right now I have parrot fish. They are about 5 inches long right now, but they will get to be about 6-8 inches long.
They are in a 55g bowfront tank. I'm hoping they will live a long time :) I've had them for about 6 months now.

Well...I currently have two goldfish about 4-4.5 inches in length. Compared to their earlier days when they were about an inch long when I first brought them home...they've been with me for about a year now...and they're in a 10 gallon tank...may need an upgrade for my 2 fatties! :o)
