the same as the rest... lies, bureaucracy, hypocrisy....
and no don't give me that whole i'm a stupid white honky stuff i'm part cherokee.
i don't fall for it.. i'm not going to be part of it. indians weren't the first persons on american soil.. no one can legitimately make that claim.
i won't.. i never.. i am not going to participate in it.
the museum in d.c. is a farse... the casinos are a joke.... the culture for which is now "historial" is a scam.
my great granpaw (who was a full blooded cherokee) he would be rolling in his grave right now.
and my gramma on the other side of the family was blackfoot. she would laugh her rear end off seeing how things are now... she would be like.. "so that's how they do it these days and are tax dollars going towards this"
culture in most cases like this... where the atmophere is shame... is not what i want to be a part of. we have a illustrious culture.. just no one seems to care unless it involved the murder, slaughter, shame of our people and we'll base everything on that.. i know this is generalizing.... but it seems that's how everyone wants it to be.
when i went to the gatherings.. it started out wonderful then the blame game started.... i figured this can't happen all the time.. but... ?
i guess it depends on who you're with.... i just don't want the indians to be known as those who must present the "we were part of the halocaust of america" deal.
we have culture... just not that.

we should move on and show them the real us... not that poor victim us... not all of us have a thing against whites.
not all of us go for the "white science is evil and it will destroy the history of our people"
