maybe, especially if the pain occurs when urinating. could be kidney stones though if not. would try to go to the doc and get a culture done. UTI/Bladder infection could clear by itself but it will be painful and may get worse. Antibiotics will solve it quickly. If it's something more serious, then you need to get it attended to sooner rather than later.

It could be a UTI. Does it hurt when you urinate or are you urinating frequently? If so, you should buy AZO from the drug store. It takes care of UTI's quick if you start it when it starts. You should probably see a doctor if it keeps up though.

drink a lot of water, check to see if your urine is too dark, if you are having nausea or a headache it can be a UTI, but if after you checked it's still hurting could be your prostate. Yes, even young ones can have an inflammed prostate sometimes.

it could be uti----if it is there will be a burning sensation when you urinate----however -----if it is on the right side more above the leg area then it could be appendix attack. go ahead right now and drink cranberry juice ---straight cranberry juice-----it will cure uti or aleast help relieve some of the discomfort. maybe you don't drink enough water. if it is your appendix you'll have to go to the Dr.
