Welcome to the world of Internet Explorer 7.0.
I got a peak at Vista (the new OS that will replace XP) and if you think IE 7.0 is bad, do not upgrade to Vista... or the 2007 Office Suite for that matter. They are not user friendly anymore.

Which toolbar are you looking for? the address? or standard buttons? you can try by right clicking the space beside (file, edit, view, favourites, tools, help) >>>> then you should see the option of turning off or on the toolbar available. Hope this help =)

i hate ie7 - but i think i am stuck with it - the tool bar is off to the right now - if it is completely gone, close the window and reopen it - when you maximize it i seem to lose it - also rigth click above teh address bar and try to unlock toolbars to see if you have accidentally hidden it.. good luck!
