Let's not get ahead of ourselves OSU hasn't even won the National Championship and now we are wondering what they would do against an NFL team. That's just plain crazy. Maybe there are some pretty bad teams in the NFL like the Cardinals and Raiders but there are way more scrubs on a college team than there ever is on a pro team. Not only are the players faster, stronger, and more powerful, the schemes the pro teams execute are much more complex than they are at the college level. I would love to see OSU try to run an option against any linebacker core in the NFL. College players at the college level do play with more heart. But pro players are much better plain and simple.

Arizona would win. They would be the faster team. I think there are a few former college teams that could beat NFL teams that year. That is because there were a few NFL teams that weren't very good. Cases like earlier this year when Oakland seemed to have given up on playing and didn't care.

I think it might be possible for a college aged team to beat an NFL team only if it was like an all star team. Take the absolute best players from different teams and put them together. Then MAYBE they could win.

Troy Smith is an awesome quarterback, but he's not an NFL type of quarterback. Brady Quinn from Notre Dame has more professional style quarterbacking.

Are you kidding? The Ohio st players would get pulverized by ANY NFL team. The biggest difference would be the lines. An NFL line could destroy a college line and score at will on any drive. There would be many injured players on the college side as well...

completely unanswerable, but would guarantee the college team would not win or even be that close. Completely different ball game there, no where even close.
