why can't i move the icons around?

on the desktop, on my laptop, they just go back in the same position

Left click and drag. Make sure you don't release mouse contact b4 you get where you want to.

right click on desktop and >>Arragne Icons By>>deselect auto Arrange Entry

And Drag them to anywhere!! :)

right click on desktop and uncheck auto arrange
