i have just passed my test and i was driving along a road near my house it was a 30 but i spotted a police camera van parked on the side of the road and i wasnt to sure if there was a camera in the back but it was parked out side the police staion on the other side of the road and i was donig just over 30 about 32 to 34 will i get done or not. am just not to sure

chances are even if it did catch you 2 miles over won't get you anything I've gone past live cops going 48 in 40 zones and they don't do anything unless its a school zone or their is a stop sign an I go through it

im sorry to be the bearer of bad news but i asked a police traffic sargeant about the 10% rule,he told me if the radar says 31 in a 30 limit you can be done, however the van may have been parked there whist the law were drinking tea and chatting up the wpcs or it may have been a number plate reader, same van different job, but generally as long as you weren't going like the clappers they wont do you. if it hapens here, they usually have another car down the road to pull you so dont panic any how whats £60 and 3 points

Most of these vans check the legality of cars,vans etc.

They take a picture of you coming towards them,tax,mot and insurance.
Speed cameras picture you going away from them.

No you won't There's a 10% margin of error because Car speedos are not calibrated

No chance. They can't take anything to court that's below the margin of error (human and machine) which is 10% +3mph.
