I have just brought a pair of nice pare of smart court shoes ready for the new year but in the shop the size 5 felt a little tight but the size 6 was massive so i got the size 5's,
They are a little tight how can i stretch them so they wont hurt my feet so much??

Need cheap and easy ways to do this as ive just spend £110 on the shoes!

Soak a bundle of newspaper in water and stuff them into your shoes...let them dry out! It'll stretch your shoes easily!

There is a cream available which supposedly softens the leather and lets it stretch to fit. For the cheapest method I have used get some newspaper, soak it and wring out excess water then stuff tightly into your shoes and leave to dry out. After a couple of goes I find the shoes easier. Otherwise wear them in the house in the evening to ease them to the shape of your feet.

easy!! stuff the shoes with damp newspaper, put them in a plastic bag and stick them in the freezer overnight. The water will freeze and expand and stretch the leather without any damage because it does it so slowly. The shoes have to be 100% leather to do this now!!

Wear thick socks with the shoes and wear them about the house for a while. That means when they start to pinch you can take them off until you can bear to try to break them in again.

Or

A good shoemaker should be able to stretch them on a last and it shouldn't cost a lot.

That one's easy. Lightly spray them with water- put them on for an hour, take them off for at least 3 hours.
