Why is every CSI theme song by the Who?

Here is my assumption: On CSI they use Who Are You? I guess because they are trying to find out who the killer is. CSI Miami they use Won't Get Fooled Again I guess because the killer can't fool them and they will solve the case. In CSI NY they use Baba O'Reily (Teenage Wasteland) The opening line is Out here in the fields, I fight for my meals. Which I guess means that New York is a tough town and they have to work twice as hard to find evidence and solve crimes and New York can sometimes be seen as a wasteland. Depending on what part you are in.

Well, the egg came before the chicken in this case, metaphorically speaking.

I heard on Entertainment News that the producer got the idea of the show from the theme song. He had always like the song, and came up with the idea after listening to it one day. Think about the lyrics -- Who are you? That's what the show is about -- trying to determine either who the dead body is or who killed it.

To keep a common theme between the shows -- and obviously, someone REALLY like the Who!
