Bush is the chief executive of the US government, the most powerful government in the world. "The Buck stops here," as Reagan used to say. As a result, he's considered responsible for America's successes and failures, whether it's directly his fault or not.

People are also unhappy with the government and the world, and of course the President is always blamed, whether he deserves it all or not. He's the leader, and it's a fact of life. The unemployment rate will go up slightly, and Bush will be blamed by the unemployed workers. Wars will take place with US involvement, and Bush will get blamed. He's supposed to represent America, and a lot of people are unhappy with America, inside it and out.

Let's be clear, he does deserve some or all of the blame on many things (9/11, Iraq, Katrina), but perhaps not every single issue.

Do you mean Valerie Plame? Since we are talking about fashion, "If the shoe fits, wear it"

Can you correct the wording in your question to (Blame) from (Plame)?

But to answer your question. Yes it seems very fashionable to put all the blame on President Bush. Whether it's fair or deserved.

I guess that's why they call Liberals (Bleeding Hearts) they can't stomach any type of conflict.
