Does anyone know the name of this recent tv show that aired either friday or saturday of this year?

I only saw the show one time, but it was with a young black haired man who was living with a foster family and he was very intelligent. He was also being spied on by a government agent who installed cameras in his room. I think he was an alien in the show but i don't know since i only saw one episode.
