has anybody ever taught phonetics and phonology at Masters level? If so pleae give me some tips about teaching

I want to know how to keeep my class motivated till the end of the semester.

I took a course as a masters level student. It was a 3 1/2 hour course once a week. That is a long, long time to sit and listen about phonics. We did some group work and that helped the time to go by better.
Honestly, if the students are masters level students then they should have intrinsic motivation. I did not always like the course, and sometimes I was tired of it, but my motivation was that I wanted an A. I think that in college a lot of the motivation should be up to the student.
