I recently bought my razr from some company in Brooklyn. The phone claimed to be new but had a t-mobile brand name on the back of it. Also, when i try to deactivate the password for my phone lock none of the defaults work. I am thinking that this phone was stolen and they simply cleaned it up a bit and cleared all of its memory. Is there a website that shows you serial numbers for stolen phones?...Thanks

No.
If the phone fails to attach with a message like "Illegal Equipment" or similar, then the IMEI is blacklisted.
If the phone works, then it was not blacklisted in your country but may well have been stolen and blacklisted in another country. This is something you may discover when you roam abroad.

not to my knowledge what you can do is contact your network provider and ask if they can tell you which if any network has an imie bar on the handset,at least then you would know who to try to start dealing with.
