I would tell him straight up
"Good Luck finding an actor for this part!"
and leave

I can't imagine, unless you had religious objections, why it would be a big deal. I think refusing to do it because it's just "icky" or something is completely immature. You're just kissing a guy, not having sex with him.
I mean I probably wouldn't enjoy it but I'm married and probably wouldn't much enjoy trying to passionately kiss a woman who wasn't my wife either. But it's your job, and if the script is decent and calls for it, you do it, right?
Because you kiss a female actress doesn't make you straight and kissing a male one doesn't make you gay.
Short answer: Yes. As a straight male I would be willing to kiss another male actor if a role called for it.

If you don't do it you're not a very good actor are you?!
Plus if I was a director and a male actor refused to do something in the script I'd make sure every other director found out and most likely he'd never work again!

Its a good indicator of the level of desperation of an actor. There are a lot of struggling straight actors who would be willing to deeply kiss another male co-star.

If you were a serious professional actor, you would probally do it. Actors (not movie stars) are always looking for a 'role' that's challenging enough to get inside them and maybe even win them an Oscar. Serious acting is NOT for the faint hearted.

if a man bypasses a great role solely because he has to kiss another man he probably either has deep-seated religious views on homosexuality or he's just immature. a real actor could kiss another man as just part of the part, if he was secure enough.
the real question is why would an ACTOR, one who does things out of the ordinary for them in every role, refuse a part like this?

That being said if you are a straight actor do you only kiss pretty girls? Or if you are a killer in the movie do you kill people in real life? There is a big difference between the real life and the reel life.
