I have a big screen rca t.v. . My daughter did something to it the picture is showing but the volume is all the way up with no sound untill you put your ear up to the speaker. I have done everything if there is. Help thanks

hmmm tricky one, could be anything. Have you tried the mute button on the remote? If your daughter did something then its unlikely to be a fault with the tv. Carry on pressing till you find it - sorry

Well how is it setup? Do you have a cable box attached to the TV? Did you check and see if its volume is also turned up?

Check the cable connections, you may have a loose audio cable connected. Do you have separate speakers attached to the TV? (and are you positive it's not muted?)

Are you sure there aren't headphones plugged in somewhere?

You could also go to menu and reset the setting on the TV.

Also, check your cable box and make sure that there isn't another volume control on it.

You could also check the connections in the back and make sure all the RCA adapters completely plugged in. They are usually yellow, red, and white.

Look on the setup menu for SAP = secondary audio program, this will take the sound from the normal speakers and send it directly to the secondary jacks, you may have to find it in the menu but that should fix it.
