Allow me to answer this as simply as possible for you.
There are *Five* Final Fantasy titles available for the PS2. This does NOT include PS1 games, though PS2's backwards compatibility allows you to play them.
The five games are:
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy X-2
Final Fantasy XI (an MMORPG but available for online consoles)
Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus
Final Fantasy XII
There are no more planned Final Fantasy titles for the PS2, as Square Enix has begun focusing on Final Fantasy XIII for the PS3.

For the PS2 itself, there are four: FF10, FF10-2, FF11, and FF12.
The PS2 is backwards compatible with PS1 games, which adds nine more games to the list: FF1 and FF2 (on the FF Origins collection), FF4 (on FF Chronicles), FF5 and FF6 (on FF Anthology), FF7, FF8, FF9, and FF Tactics.
That's a total of thirteen. There are also games like Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon that are in no way part of the series.
