Hey im 11.2 weeks pregnant and i have my first prenatal today...Will they be able to hear the heartbeat in the Dr. office? i dont have an ultrasound....But will they still use the dopplar and hear the heartbeat?!?!?! Im excited :) Thanks everyone!!!

Your doctor will use the doppler though it is unlikely they will hear anything strong until the 12 week mark. Good luck and congratulations!
Also at the 12 week u/s you can almost always see the heart functioning! I saw my son at 11.6weeks and i saw the little heart chambers pumping, it was amazing!!

They should. Stay relaxed though if it takes them a bit. The baby is still quite small and the doctor may have to push around for a bit to find it. (I know I started to panic when she didn't find it right away).
Congrats and enjoy that was my favorite part.

yup and you should definitaley be able to hear the heart beat congrats and good luck!!!!

Yes. They should. My doc would be concerned if it isn't heard by week 8.
