Yes we are all ambivalent. We tend to be torn between two opposing ideals - what is good and what is bad. The sad thing is sometimes we think a certain thing is good but it can be perceived by others as anything but. For example, you did something wrong like "cheat in an exam" and at that time you thought it was ok because you are about to fail the subject if you don't pass that one test. But then again, we are governed by certain rules and norms and if we step outside of that context, it would simply mean that we did something wrong. However, let's not kid ourselves into thinking that we can redefine the meaning of good and evil by making unacceptable and self-serving justifications for our actions. Reality is -- society molded us -- our beliefs and our perceptions so we cannot just act out on our whims and fancies in order to get the outcome we want to achieve. It's just a matter of common sense to distinguish what is good and what would be evil. Everything can be relative but we have to learn how to handle the consequences of our every move.

Yes. We all have a capacity to do good and evil. The only problem is that doing evil comes almost naturally (I'm not talking about murder or anything serious), but doing good takes a bit more effort.

I agree with the relativistic answers. Whether an action is good or evil is all a matter of perspective.
What tends to make an act seem good is when it benefits a lot of people, especially the one(s) doing the judging. What tends to make an act seem evil is when it favors self-interest to the neglect or harm of others. The trick is to find solutions or make decisions that benefit yourself and seem generous or selfless to others. You may worry that it is evil to be so selfish, but what matters is how the rest of the world sees your actions.

no one can truly determine or judge what goes on in the minds of other individuals.a persons personality is a magnificent study.individuals were blessed with the previledge of choice.the choice of good, the choice of evil.no one is perfect, mistakes are common but the mere fact that a person trys to be and do good makes that person a better smarter and far from evil than anything else

No. Since from perceived bad actions perceived good results can arise and vice vera the entire premise of good and evil are flawed. These things are relative and by no means absolute. So to answer your question, no, since these things do not exist our personalities cannot be composed of them.

We are all born with free will, if you believe in GOD and live according to His law then your "good side" will be your ruling side, but if not the devil (the evil side) will rule you. And even if you do live according to GOD'S law you must be careful for the devil is always knocking to get in and rule your actions. So the answer to your question is yes.

People have no innate disposition to do good or evil. It is, however, the most important choice we make in life.
