Not so long ago when I was in school about 7 years actually, all the girls use to wear tight levis all the time. I thought they looked great on them especially when they wore those white ones. Now u only see older women wearing them

The same thing happened as with everything else. They go out of fashion. No doubt they'll be back at some point!

Now wait just a minute older women's? I think if you have the curves like I do at my age well hon I still wear 501's and even the low cuts jeans and my guy friends tell me I look great in them and I'm 45. :o) But the white 501's maybe in the near future and their are so many styles of jeans out there and we like verity type of jeans.

You can't buy 501s for women any more. I tried to buy some in 2004 and they had stopped then.
So the older ladies you see wearing them have had them for a while.

501s were part of functional wear for students . . .
They lasted forever so they were great on a student budget.
501s & Tshirts . . . you had $$ left over for concerts or save up for a trip to Thailand or Europe.

I just bought a pair of Levi's for the first time in ages and I'm going to return them! They made my a** look flat & wide!lol!

501`s are not the current style in cut. Todays style is for low waisted & bootflare jeans. 501`s are only available in high waist & narrow leg cut.

i know what u mean i used to wear um in highschool 5 years ago they would give me a nice booty and a nice figure, i still have them and usin them , they r the best, but u know that the new low rider jeans, and others came out so girls just moved on.

coz there are so many new brands of jeans out on the market now that are cut for women and give good comfort and a good look
