An ovary is a organ in the woman's body, where female eggs are produced. In the ovary the sperm and the egg meet and fertilize. In a plant it is where plant eggs are( only in a female plant).

Kennedy f is wrong somewhat...an ovary is an organ where female eggs are stored however it is not where fertilization occurs that occurs in the Fallopian tube
