I recently answered a question about why do men love short girls so much?
I was suprised to see how many men said that they do like short girls. Being a tall women(5.8) I have never had a problem getting dates as an adult. My husband is even on the short side. He is barely taller then me, and he says he dosen't have any problem with my hieght. Infact I always thought guys kinda liked tall women. I have a friend who is only 5.0 and the guys always seemed to like me over her. Same thing with my sister, she is 5.4 and I have always got more dates then her. So I'm confused here. So please tell me is this true do men really not like tall women? Do men really want a short women over a tall women?

I noticed earlier that some people were saying that tall women aren't feminen. I can see saying that about a big muscular women or something. But I don't see how being tall makes someone not feminen. My cusin is very tall. I have to look up to her. She was Miss missouri in the Miss USA pagent. She is absolutely beautiful! Not to say that short women can't look attractive too. They do. I was just suprised to see how many men said they prefred short women.

Women are always trying to create the illusion that they're taller than what they really are by wearing high heel shoes or others with heels. This is only for the fact that they know deep in thier minds most men actually prefer taller women.

Well I'm 5'6" which is average I guess. My bf is 6'4" and is always ogling over the "tall" women. He says he's never really dated "tall" woman, he just loves to look at them. I have to say though with him being so tall I can wear stiletto's and he is in heaven with me appearing soooo tall.

I'm short 5'5" but it doesn't make any difference to me how tall or short you are. If its put together right im fine with it.
I like tall ones as much as I like the short ones

i am 5- 11 and i used to hate my height, but i dont any more, men love a tall leggy woman.
but they also likek pettit women as well so really its preference of the indavidual lol not much help am i!

My present girlfriend is 5'1", and most of my past partners have been under 5'4". But then, I'm 5'9"...and maybe that has something to do with it. I think I just make a connection between small and cute... and there's nothing objective about it. It's just a subjective perception of mine.

i'm 5'8", and my personal preference is for a woman about 5'5'' or taller.
i have nothing against shorter women, but i prefer the taller ones. i don't mind a woman taller than me.

I love tall girls!! Not taller then me of course, I am 6ft 2. but I really like tall girls. My Girlfriend is really short though she is only 5 ft 2 but I think tall girls are awesome!

Evolutionarily, it seems to be hard-wired into men to prefer shorter women. Studies show shorter women are more likely to both and date and be married. That said, everyone has different tastes, and there are also a considerable number of us for whom height is really irrelevant.

I preffer the woman to be smaller than me, but thats just general preference.

no but short men might feel intimidated by taller girls.
Im 1.80 so I prefer tall girls more than short...
