Okay, I have a cousin who is married, last weekend, I caught his wife cheating on him, I took pics of her and her lover in the bar togther as a couple. I have very vivid pics, I think I might post them on the internet unless she makes a huge offer, does this sound divas,Are there certain restrictions on the internet to posting things like this although I didnt have her consent on taking the pictures, but she was in a public place. Help?

Thank you all for the quick response, you made me realize that it was a bad idea, although, I dont think I could bring myself to do it, She just needs to get what she deserves, and she will with time.

Blackmail is illegal. If you do that, she has grounds to sue you. And why would you do that to your cousin? Do you think that's how he wants to find out about his wife?

How about just giving your cousin a heads up? And why would you want to try and blackmail someone? I mean is she rich? Besides your actions could do more harm to your cousin and not to the cheating spouse. It is never a good idea to do what you are suggesting. You never know how what you do will be received. Your cousin may perceive you as trying to hurt and humiliate him. All in all stop with the movie dramatics and just do whats right. Tell your cousin and give him all the pictures because really its his problem so let him deal with it. And surely any money she may get would probably come outta your cousins pocket anyways. (shaking head)

I wouldn't do that. And you want a large offer? Of money?<~ I may be wrong, but that's how it sounds. You are dealing with peoples emotions... This idea is wrong on so many levels. I would consider telling your cousin IN PRIVATE..and personally showing her the pictures if you really think it is your place to tell her. Sometimes things aren't always as they seem. Be sure before you potentially ruion a marriage.

I think in doing so, you might end up hurting the wrong person. Your cousin. If it's on the internet surely he can also see this. I would have a long talk with him in private and possibly show him the pictures. If you care about him, don't let him waste his life on someone that clearly doesn't care.

Sweetie .. thats commonly known as blackmail and is illegal.

Show them to your cousin by all means, but posting them on the internet will only serve one purpose - to get you arrested for blackmail. Also taking pictures and posting them on the internet without the participants knowledge is also an offense.

Wow! What a great, upstanding citizen you are!! Maybe you should become a private detective or something.

If you want to do the right thing, tell her to admit the affair to your cousin, or else you will. Stop with the blackmailing. You're no better than she is.

Where are your morales, sounds like your worried about money for pictures, you should be telling your cousin, that way he can get an annulment. I hope in the long run that you will tell him, and soon!!!

yeah post them, hopefully one day a bf takes naked pictures of you and he has the same idea, do you feel justified in doing something bad because someone else did, that's petty, i don't think anyone would even look at them unless they were going at it, gee the Internet is so helpful isn't it

Grow up. If you want to do the right thing, talk to her about her problem and if that does not help, tell her husband. Putting it on the net would be stupid and would ruin your friendship!

That's blackmail, you will go to jail. I hope she turns you in. Personally I would hunt you down and beat the crap out of you.
