We have a submergalbe pump, last night was very cold, and today the pump does nothing. Its as if there is no electricity to it and the breaker has not been thrown.

Highly unlikely as the points are not inside the pump-if your water line froze up the pump will not start as there is probably enough pressure in the line to keep the pump off.call a repair man if you are not sure!

The points can stick.. sounds like water line froze.

Put a Heat Lamp inside the well house.

You may have a bad motor. As you are referring, there is no sound as it does not have electricity. Usually, when a pump is stock by solidification you can hear the motor humming.
