What should I wear? I want to look nice when I come home but I'm unsure of how to put things together (Skinny jeans + snow boots + sweater + scarf?)

Layering is really in right now, as well as playing with proportion. Skinny jeans tucked into snow boots would be really cute. Scarves are also great for adding color to an outfit. If you go to oldnavy.com and select "shop by outfit" you can find some really cute ideas for all different outfits.

boots with jeans tucked in them, or long jackets that kind of look a little british, skinny jeans with ballet-flats-sort-of-shoes, and the NORTH FACE jackets (even though they're not elegant, they're really popular now) are just some things

big sweaters with waist clinchers have been very popular on the runway. in europe, darker velvet, lace, etc. is very "in". but seriously, wear whatever you feel like wearing and forget about whether it's in or not. as long as you look good, then everything's good.
