i'm also tired of the pathetic excuses ppl are comeing out with, like isreal would suffer, if the u.s stopped tradeing the world would go into chaos, i think the u.s will stop functioing if the world stopped tradeing with you, since you are the biggest consumers of natural resources in the world to feed your coperate owned factories and to build your new cities and houses.proof who is the major contributer of glbal warming.

they should move the u.n building to asian or african countires where they would agree on fairer laws for the u.n. countries with histories of war crimes in thier past should not be chosen in the permanant members committee. so germany, u.s and u.k would not be allowed to make decisions on world affiars.the world would then be a more peacefull place for all.

-Kofi anann said iraq's are worse off today then when under saddam hussian,

In what aspect? Is it the government who's doing all the killing of civilians today? That is who was doing all the killing when Saddam was in.

-He even hinted the the current situation in iraq is worse then a civil war

I don't know what you or Kofi class as civil, but there's no such thing as being civil when it comes to war.

-I think the world should kick out the u.s and it's allies and make thier own union.

You don't think. IF you did you'd know the US'd like to have been gone long before now. The US helped set up elections and the ratification of a Constitution. 157 different parties-- And you want a union?

-And arm those countires with every weapon imaginable, this way an attack or interfernce one country is an attack on all.

Arm what countries? What weapons do you want them to have they don't have now? Most of the countries over there are like 6 year old kids. The UN should be taking away weapons not giveing them out. And who's going to pay for all this? YOU?

-This will guanrtee world peace like the cold war did between the soviet union and n.a.t.o countires.

What it would guarantee would be chaos.

-No one asked the u.s or it's allies to invade iraq,

No, and the US shouldn't have had to do it. The UN should have done it. But Kofi and the UN have no teath to enforce their resolutions and sanctions they pass.

-from day one 80 % of iraqi's wanted the nazi invaders out of thier country.

From Day 1? Dang your memory is short. Was it only 20% of the people who were tearing dwon Saddam's statues? And the nazis didn't invade Iraq. They got whooped in 1945.

-The iraqi population doesn't accept the puppet corrupt dictoial government which was fraudently sworn in.

80% turnout in elections, 157 different parties. Sure sound like a puppet government. Corrupt dictatoral government was what they had with Saddam.

-no ownder people hate and mistrust the u.s around the world, once a nazi allways a nazi.

*LOL* you wouldn't know a nazi if they slapped you.

Well everyone else has blown your insane and anti-American tirade out of the water so I'll be brief. Once again you show your complete lack of military knowledge which you have claimed in prior posting to be extensive.

Good idea...arm fanatical Muslim countries...Syria and Iran jump to mind...with "every weapon imaginable". Toss a few dozen to North Korea...real stabilized country. And you think this will create world peace? Just look at India and Pakistan....they have nukes and can't wait to use them om each other.

You have no military training, education or experience. You can't even differentiate between tactical and strategic thinking let alone do either.

Right give everybody nukes and the world will be at peace forever. Grow up.

Hey Mrs Truth...learn something. Germany is NOT a permanent member of the UN security council. You obviously know nothing of its creation after WWII. And yes move the UN out of the US. Let some other country put up with and pay for all the crap the UN does.

Hey. Isn't Kofi Annan the same guy who said:
"Although the UN vowed "never again" in the aftermath of the Rwandan genocide and killings at Srebrenica, the organisation has been unable to end a three-year crisis in Sudan's Darfur region, where more than 200,000 people are thought to have died.
"It is deeply, deeply disappointing and it's tragic," said Mr Annan. "But we do not have the resources or the will to confront the situation."
He pledged to work towards a solution in Darfur, which Sudan's government has refused to allow UN peacekeepers to enter, until his very last moment in office.

In typical U.N. fashion. We would like to help but we can't right now. Go ask the US and UK and Germany to fix it. We have to many meetings to go to. But he has become a millionaire since he became the U.N. Secreatary. At least one person from a poor country got fed.

And "many things have to get worse before they get better." The civil war there is terrible. If Mr Annon is so worried about it .... what is his plan? Or is he going to dump in on the next U.N. secretary and run home with all his money?

You would arm the entire world?? Cold war for the entire world. That is about the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. Your not real bright are you?

Kofi Annan is as much a sneakthief lying doubledealing snake as any politician in the world. IF the US were to secede from the rest of the world, close it's borders, recall all her troops worldwide and stop trading, we here would suffer for a time, but the remainder of the world would fall into utter chaos. If we were to concentrate our efforts only on our own best interests (yes, sometimes it appears we are doing that), and let the world do what it will with itself, I think your view might change. I have a lot of fellow citizens who let their common sense be blotted out by their hatred for the President, A President. And it doesn't matter which President. I don't follow either party path here but prefer to take the best all have to offer and discard the rest.

Tale a look around. At this moment, Hizbullah is leading rioting and protests in Lebanon against the government. Why? Because they perceive the Lebanese government as being too swayed by western interests. Guess who Hizbullah is? For all intents and purposes, they are, in every sense...IRAN! So, before singling one country out, make a list of who is diddling around in the politics of countries around the world. Figure out what their ultimate goals are and then decide if the likely outcome will finally improve conditions. In the case of Iraq, in my view...it will improve greatly if...IF, we finish what he have started and not once again let negative, defeatist attitudes reign. Thanks

Wow where to begin. How about the crooked Food for oil program the U.N was running prior to the War. You may ask WHY start there. Simple, because the U.N. was RUNNING it and KNEW about it. Kofi Annan runs the U.N. so only right to start with where HIS group screwed up Iraq long before we got there. Then we could go on about how Iraq was violating the U.N. Cease Fire agreement which included that they had to DEMONSTRATE to the U.N. Weapons Inspectors that they destroyed the WMD. We could also go on about that you are basically asking for the destruction of Israel. See they wouldn't last without the U.S. around. The U.N. doesn't care about Israel. The only reason they are still around is the U.S. veto's the council's constant condemnations of Israel.

So, you don't believe in the sovereignty of a nation? Should the US just allow the UN to vote on all its decisions? I for one am not of that opinion, and find Kofi Anann corrupt and not worthy of listening to. The UN can freely choose to locate outside the US... maybe it is time we explore that option, as well as the amazing amount of the financial burden the US bears for the institution.

I wish America would pull out of the rest of the world, mind our own buisness, leave the other countries for themselves for a while. Hell, we should demand all debt owed to us be payed in full too. That would cover our deficit and put us back in the black. Then we could focus on Domestic issues and ignore the many cries for help from every country worldwide when they are attacked, overthrown, etc...

Then...when Nazi's march accross Europe again, we can see it vividly on HD TV's from home and think...."maybe we should help them"....but it will only be a passing thought...

That you would take seriously the words of a card carrying Communist who enriched himself and his family in the Oil for Food scandal tells me your naivete runs deep.

To claim that the average Iraqi is "better off" under the reign of terror of Saddam is almost cruel were it not so ridiculous.
